ice cream and fire trucks

we were at mcdonalds the other day and we got logan a kid sized ice cream cone. the only problem was that he didn't like how cold it was and wouldn't eat it.

so he decided to put it upside down and eat it cone first.

i was at safeway a few weekends ago and they were having a car seat safety check. the fire department was there and logan was so excited to check out the firetruck. i think that the firemen were almost as excited as logan!

holiday update

we have been pretty busy this past month keeping up with all the holiday activities going on. here is an overview of what we have been up to:

picking pumpkins

we went to the pumpkin patch this past weekend with some friends in our ward. we rode the horse drawn wagon out to the pumpkins and picked the perfect pumpkin.

logan got a pumpkin just his size and then proceeded to throw off the side of the wagon on our way back.

we had a hard time getting both boys to sit on the pumpkin at the same time.

there was petting zoo and logan loved petting the animals. we had to teach him to pet them softly because he would run up to them and swat them with his hand.

i took logan to the zoo with some friends from our ward. he had a great time looking at all the animals and keeping up with the other kids.

remembering

we went to my dad's grave site for the six year anniversary of his death. it was a beautiful day and the weather was perfect. i know logan never got to meet his grandpa in this life, but i like to think he met him in the pre-mortal existence. hopefully i can pass on my memories of my dad and logan can know what a great person he is.
