pizza

i found a good recipe for homemade pizza dough so lately we have been having fun making pizza for dinner. the other night i rolled out small pizzas for the kids to make. they loved putting on the sauce and deciding what toppings they wanted. my favorite is grilled chicken, caramelized onions, and garlic, the kids pretty much like cheese...the "pecaconni's" are to spicy, and dan will pretty much eat whatever!

 

performances

allison is taking a gymnastics class and she loves it.  she has been taking this class for about a year and she is getting so good. at the end of the term there was a little performance. the kids showed off their skills and then did a little snowman dance at the end.

logan's preschool had a christmas performance at the end of the year. they read the nativity story and sang some songs. logan was dressed as a shepherd. i got his picture before he went on stage but it was pretty much the only good one.

on new year's day we went to an indoor amusement park with dan's family. the kids had fun going on the rides, being with their cousins, and having access to an all you can eat buffet....

4 wheeling

on new year's eve we went four-wheeling with dan's family. the brothers usually try to plan a traditional new years trip every year. this time our family went and i'd have to say we all enjoyed ourselves.

christmas day

on christmas morning we woke up and the first thing the kids did was check to

see if santa had come....

he ate the cookies we left for him and he left them a note...

then they checked the stockings and saw that they were full...

they looked under the tree...

then we opened the presents from santa and then got ready for 8:30 church...

after we came home from church we opened the rest of our presents...

then we went to grandma and papa's house to open some more presents and have christmas dinner...

we had a wonderful christmas and are so grateful for the opportunity to celebrate the birth of our savior.
